Ingrid Beddoes is a seasoned veteran here at Kess InHouse! She takes her inspiration from long nature walks with her lovely companion of a pup! Her inspiration comes from these long walks and those glimpses of early morning dew and the beauty before the world is fully awake. Ingrid has been featured on many sites including Touch of Modern just to name one of the many! Her artwork entails beautiful photography with an artistic flair. Ingrid's beautiful artwork is featured on all of our high end product line, for example shower curtains, duvet covers, throw pillows, cutting boards, and more! Ingrid was able to answer a quick few questions with us!
KIH: What is your first memory as an artist?
IB: My mum and sister were extremely artistic. When I was at boarding school I have fond memories of spending half terms with my sister and playing around with her oil paints in her studio attic.
KIH: What is your creative process?
IB: I don't really have one. I get inspiration from my walks with Charlee (gorgeous black lab) everything in nature is beautiful....I am probably my happiest getting my knees muddy while taking pictures of glistening morning dew drops.
KIH: What was your first & favorite medium?
KIH: What is your favorite color right now?
IB: aqua but also love the elegance of white and a hint of colour
KIH: What common threads do you find show up in your work?
IB: Dandelions, macro phototgraphy with water.
KIH: Where do you do most of your work?
IB: Walks, my varanda, and kitchen window.
