You could say we are in the midst of a full blown superhero take over at the box-office. With Guardians of the Galaxy becoming the second-highest movie of the year, they show no sign of slowing down. Marvel recently released the trailer for the highly anticipated Avengers: Age of Ultron, with mass hysteria and riot like discussion soon following across all corners the internet. Superhero movies are not a new trend but have been on the rise since 2010.

Marvel Studios has 11 movies scheduled between now and 2019. DC Comics has a total of 10 films lined up before 2020. It’s going to be a very saturated market by the time all of these films are released and we can’t wait. These include Age of Ultron (May 2015), Doctor Strange (Nov 2016), Wonder Woman (June 2017), Black Panther (Nov 2017), The Flash (March 2018), the 2 Part Infinity Wars (May 2018 and May 2019 respectively), and Aquaman (July 2018).

The Avengers Worldwide Gross Revenue has exceeded $1.5 Billion, quickly becoming the 3rd highest grossing film of all time (with inflation), while Iron Man 3 sits at a comfortable #6 on that list. The closest DC film on that list is The Dark Knight Rises (Batman) at #11 with just over $1B in gross revenue, Followed by the Dark Knight at #19. TV Shows are also in full swing with Marvels ‘Agents of Shield’ and ‘Agent Carter (Coming Soon), competing with DC’s ‘Arrow’ and ‘The Flash’, along the incredibly popular ‘Gotham’. I believe it’s pretty fair to say that while Marvel may be dominating in the box office, DC is getting home runs with their TV Shows.

In anticipation for all these fantastic films, here are some of our fantastic superhero inspired products.
